Description
A crowd of passengers wait to board the Pacific Electric Red Car No. 1148 at 6th and Main, going to Pasadena via Oak Knoll. A man carries a large package labeled "rush" and "fragile." First photograph caption dated Oct. 3, 1950 reads, "Its days are numbered. After Sunday, no more P.E. Oak Knoll Red Cars will rumble from Sixth and Main (above) to Pasadena."; Second photograph caption dated Mar. 6, 1967 reads, "Red car trolley - the line to Pasadena made its last run in 1950."
