California Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. at news conference in Los Angeles after he signed an executive order requiring California service stations to remain open over the weekends. Stations will open on Saturdays or Sundays depending on whether their state license number ends in an odd or even number to match the odd or even day of the month.
