Description
From an undated, unattributed newspaper clipping: "Postal Employees Have Outing on Carmel: Salinas postal employes [sic] and their families, 44 people in all, enjoyed an outing on the Carmel river last Sunday. A barbecue was prepared and served by Frank Colburn and Fred C. Moffitt. Many forms of amusement were indulged in, including swimming, barnyard golf and baseball. Fred P. Feliz showed the force about his wonderful country home, which contains ..many points of interest, including the monument built by himself and dedicated to the American Legion."
