Description
Photograph of a man sitting in a horse-drawn carriage, with horse, on a dirt road. In the background can be seen the San Gabriel mountains (formerly the "Sierra Madre mountains"). The left of the photograph shows a row of eucalyptus trees, which were used as wind breaks. Behind the trees is a fence - implying that the land on the other side was privately owned. Photograph is attached to cardboard material. The front of the photo reads: "Views of Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley, E.A. Bonine, Photo., Lamanda Park, Los Angeles Co., Cal." On the reverse is printed: "Views of Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley. / E.A. Bonine Photo. / Lamanda Park, Los Angeles Co., Cal. / Catalogue Free / Indian Photographs can be furnished at $3 per dozen, and will be sent by mail, upon receipt of price. Send postal order on Pasadena, but address letter to Lamanda Park. Also views of Southern California."
