Description
Telephone repairman Gary Ballard holds a piece of cable sheath which was pierced by a bullet. In background, repair crews are trying to fix cables which were put out of service by the rioters in the Watts area. This scene is at East 103rd and Anzac Streets. Many of the phone lines were cut off. Photo dated: August 22, 1965.
