This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco."
Portrait of five men standing in front of steps of a building. Text written under photo, with first names partially gone: "[ ]mes D. Phelan, [ ]sden Mansen, [ ]cy D. [sic] Long, [ ] McElroy." There is a fifth man in the photo who is unidentified. Phelan was Mayor of San Francisco from 1897 to 1901, and later U.S. Senator. Marsden Mansen was on the Board of Public Works. Percy V. Long became City Attorney, and James P. McElroy was Deputy County Clerk.
