Description
Ropes secure old alarm tower in preparation for removal of bell. Tower stands directly behind Station No. 1, 210 West 3rd Street. View down 3rd Street shows First Congregational Church on distant left side. Kress 5-10-25 sign at right is for the seven-story S. H. Kress variety store building at 122 W. 5th Street. Also sign for the Inman Company, famous Long Beach photography studio. Same as Photo 4324_2.
