Description
A highlight of the Uplifters event on September 16, 1939, is the joke "sunrise court" at the outing. Left to right, Rex Harding, as prosecutor; Judge Leroy Dawson, judge; Bill Cline, clerk; Judge Isaac Pacht, defense attorney; Santa Monica Police Chief Charles Dice, bailiff; State Attorney General Earl Warren, defendant, accused of raiding gambling ships.
