Description
Florence, S.C.: Giving the 'Black Power' salute, Herman Finklea of Florence, S.C., astride his trusty horse, 'Spirit', leads about 3,000 black marchers through the city streets here to protest the shooting death of a black man by a white policeman. The marchers walked about one mile to the city-county complex where black leaders spoke to the crowd.
