Description
The caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on April 12, 1970 states: "Officials of the State Division of Highways and civic and industrial leaders gathered in Stockton this past week to mark completion of the relocation of 7.6 miles of railroad track to facilitate construction of Interstate 5. A new section of track is in the foreground. Earth-fill for an Interstate 5 bridge is in the background."
