Description
Dr. Alvin Marks, a psychologist in Sacramento, was a pilot and the president of a commuter airline based in Sacramento, Skymark Airlines. He made a record-breaking solo trip around the world in 1969 in his Cessna. Caption: Alvin Marks, sitting in the cockpit of his plane, adjusts his mascot "Snoopy," who will be the only passenger on the flight with him. (This 1967 attempt was not successful.)
