Description
Photograph of instructional exhibit by Frank Wiggins Trade School, showing students and teacher, ca.1920-1929. At center, two students and a teacher stand in the wooden frame of a small structure. The structure appears to be sitting in an enclosed studio. One student stands at the center of the house behind a small, wooden table. A pile of clay or some other substance sits atop the table. Against the back wall at right, another student wearing a cap can be seen holding a tool in his right hand. The teacher stands near a small doorway and points at the unfinished wall. On the outside of the small house, a sign reads: "Instructional Exhibit. Building Trade Students. Frank Wiggins Trade School". In the foreground at right, a small sign reads: "This model house being built by students in training in the Building Trades Department of the Frank Wiggins Trade School". A series of dates and trades are listed at the bottom of the sign.
