HMF at Greater New Bethel Baptist Church, 601 E. 99th Street, Los Angeles, California, December 1, 2004; 8:00 p.m. Introduction -- Devotional "The Angels Sang -- Dwayne Roberts teaches "Jesus Is His Name" (Roberts-composer & on piano) -- Margaret Douroux remarks -- Stan Lee teaches "Angels We Have Heard on High" (Donald Webber on piano) -- "He's Perfect" taught by Donald Webber with soloist Lisa Web -- Margaret Douroux comments -- "The Angel Sang" Zelpha Brewster and several vocalists -- Closing by Margaret Douroux and Reverend Herman Avery "The Angel Sang." Part of Gospel Archiving in Los Angeles (GALA), a yearlong partnership between the Heritage Music Foundation (HMF) and the UCLA Ethnomusicology Archive, funded by a UCLA in LA Community Partnership grant, 2004-2005.
