Detached from the author's The theatre of the empire of Great Britaine. 1611 (cf. RB #69520 v.2). Includes inset of Oxford; arms of colleges, Oxford University, Elfred (founder of Oxford), Vere, Earl of Oxford, and the royal arms. With descriptive text on recto of first leaf; list of Oxfordshire Hundreds on verso of 2nd leaf; with notation of "Fol. 45" and "Fol. 46", signature M2 on first leaf. Initial; text leaf 1 in two columns with side-bars; leaf 2 in six columns. Removed from RB 69520, volume 2. Submap: Oxford. Figures: Oxford scholars. Border: Coats of Arms of Colleges. Relief: pictorial. Projection: Plane. Printing Process: Copper engraving.
