Photograph of a view of Red Rock Canyon with a man standing on top of a rock formation, Death Valley, California, ca.1900/1950. The silhouette of a man with his hands on his hips can be seen at the top of the frontmost of two wide, narrow rock formations approximately 120 feet tall that extend from the center of the photo to the left. A pile of rubble rests at the bottom of the formation, while the desert sand extends towards the right, dappled with low-growing vegetation.
