Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Mission Santa Cruz, New Mexico, ca.1900. The non-spackled adobe chapel is visible at center, with two bell towers extending from either side of its two-story main section. A second, one-story section extends from the back of the chapel to the left and to the right, while a brick wall and white gate are visible delineating the perimeter in front of the mission where seveal small trees can be seen. The earth in the foreground appears dusty and fallow. Mountains can be seen in the background.
