Photograph of an aerial view of the pier in Venice, looking west, 1918. On the pier is a roller coaster and a carousel, among several other buildings. On the beach to the right of the pier is a large crowd of people taking advantage of the large waves breaking on shore. In the lower left corner is another rollercoaster next to a lake there are several cars parked around it in multiple parking lots. There is a large building in the lower right corner, but the rest of the area is taken up by small nondescript buildings.
