Description
Five women in winter attire are standing in the snow with light snow falling. The woman on the left is wearing a tan and brown long-sleeved dress with fur lining, and a matching brown velvet plumed hat. Her garment has brown velvet edged wide lapels, velvet cuffs and collar, and a wide band of brown patterned in tan down the side of the skirt. She carries a small brown velvet muff, and wears small oval gold pendant earrings. The woman second from the left is wearing a light green or gray princess line dress with a black floral design on the sleeves and skirt. The collar is brown fur, and the front edges and cuffs are also trimmed in brown fur. She wears tan gloves and holds a small brown muff trimmed with bows. She wears a tan hat with a turned up brim trimmed with fur and feathers, and wears small oval gold pendant earrings. She reaches her right hand forward to the hand of the first woman. The woman in the center is wearing a tan dress with a tan jacket with a high standing collar. The collar, sleeves, hem, and sleeves are trimmed with dark brown, and the front of the jacket fastens with a long row of round brown buttons with loops as button holes. Her skirt has a line of black trim down the front at the side. She holds an open black umbrella. Her black fur hat is trimmed with pink flowers. The woman second from the right is wearing a grey cloak with three rows of frills at the neck, edged with pink, over a black dress. She is wearing tan gloves, holds a black umbrella, and is wearing a veil. Her small black hat is trimmed with pink flowers and black bows, and is tied under her chin. The woman on the right is wearing a grey cloak with a black leaf pattern, trimmed or lined with brown fur. The fur trims the hem, cuffs, center front, collar, and shoulders, and she carries a matching muff. She is wearing a black spotted veil over her small black hat which has a pom pom at the top in back. Her gloved hands are tucked inside her muff. Behind the women are many trees with bare branches, two birds sitting on a branch, and a small square building with two chimneys.
