Photograph dated June 29, 1961 shows classmates David Niven Jr., left, and Peter Snyder helping 12-year-old, Lance Kerr get ready for his high school graduation. The article partially reads, "Meet this year's youngest high school graduate in the Valley - and perhaps in the country. He is 12-year-old Lance N. Kerr, who received his diploma today from the Buckley School, 4477 Woodman Ave., Van Nuys. The youth, who is 4 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 75 pounds, plans to continue his studies in the fall at the University of California - either in Los Angeles or Berkeley. He wants to become a physicist."
