Description
Shown in 1995 is the Clauss and Kraus Meat building, located at 1700 "I" Street. Constructed in circa 1900 and founded by John Clauss and Frank Kraus in 1888, the concern was a primary provider of meat in Sacramento until its closure in 1981.
