Photograph of La Fiesta de Los Angeles parade with Turnverein Germania (German athletic club) float, April 1894. Nine young men in club uniforms form a human pyramid by standing on one another's shoulders on the flower- and plant-festooned float. Some of the young sportsmen hold fencing foils. A driver on the float holds the reins to the horses at left. Four young boys watch. A two-story house and several large trees are visible behind.
