Missionaries of Danish Santal Mission, Dr. Else Høilund (left) and nursing teacher, Grethe Madsen (right), at Sher-e-Bangla Hospital, started after the Civil War in 1971, resulting in founding of the new state, Bangladesh. Both of them had been involved in the relief work following the war.
