Description
Photograph of a man plunging into a pool atop an apartment house, ca.1930. Clad in light-colored swimwear, a man dives into the pool from a diving board on the right. To his right is the concrete poolside on which sit seven women watching the scene. A lone woman in a light-colored dress stands at the pool railing and watches the dive. To the left, a portion of the building can be seen. In the distant right, one can make out several buildings, among which is the "Gaylord" on Wilshire Boulevard. A mountainous area can be vaguely discerned in the distance.
