Description: "I believe the photos of Laurel and Hardy were taken because of the filming of the Big Noise at the Monrovia Airport in 1944. I have a color photo from a slide that shows Oliver Hardy, Albert Blackburn, Bud Hanser, and Stan Laurel with the Monrovia Airport Hanger in the background with a Blue convertible that was used in the filming in the background behind a yellow airplane NC-4683. The photos were taken because Blackburn, the owner had allowed the filming of the film at Monrovia Airport that he owned." Info from Gary Boen. Dates are approximate; film was released in 1944.
