Yaacov Lozowick discusses his book, “Right to Exist.” He begins by explaining how he spent most of his life advocating peace and a rational compromise between Israel and Palestine, until the Palestinians rejected a peace offer made by Israeli Minister, Ehud Barak. Lozowick discusses how these events and the following outbreak of war drove him to become a reluctant supporter of Sharon. He goes on to discuss the role of Jordan and the West Bank in the struggle between Palestine and Israel. Also in this interview he explains why he believes that dividing Jerusalem between Palestinians and Israelis will not work.
