Photograph caption reads: "LAPD officers try to move crowd of hundreds of people into orderly line so that they could be let into First Public Savings Bank to withdraw money. Rumers [sic] caused bank run yesterday and today, despite assurances from the bank and Federal officials that no one will lose any money". Rumors in the Chinese-American community started a run on First Public Savings Bank at 800 North Hill Street. Photograph dated: Feb. 23, 1986.
