Description
A young girl walks with a red rose in one hand and her hat in the other while she casts a sullen look over her shoulder. She wears a light blue, two-piece outfit of a short skirt and tunic top. The skirt ends well above her knees, and she wears white stockings. The short-sleeved tunic has a circular neckline and fastens on the left with two buttons. The empire waistline has a narrow black belt, and the tunic skirt falls in soft folds to about hip length. The hems of the tunic and skirt are trimmed with narrow black bands, as is the tunic neckline, sleeve hems, and the left front opening. Matching the pale blue of her outfit are her "Mary Jane" strapped shoes (made popular in 1902) and her headband, which sits above the bangs of her blond hair. Her black feathered hat dangles loosely upside-down from her fingers as she grasps the ribbon ties. She stands against an uncolored background with a simple ground line of green and gray.
