Aerial view of Edwin Markham Junior High, located at 1650 E. 104th Street in the Watts section of Los Angeles; view is looking southeast. Ground was broken on January 22, 1956 and the architect was William H. Harrison. Compton Avenue is bottom left to upper right; 104th Street is lower right to middle left; 103rd Street is at bottom left corner; Grandee Avenue is middle left to upper right. The Pacific Electric Watts Line runs from middle left to top middle and middle left to top left and the Pacific Electric car house is at left. Photograph was taken for William H. Harrison (the school architect). Photograph dated October 23, 1957.
