Bust-length portrait.
Richard Dolwig was born in 1908 in North Dakota. Practiced law in Redwood City. Served as State Assemblyman for San Mateo County from 1946 to 1956 and as State Senator from 1956 to 1970. Introduced water plan in 1960, bill to divide the State, active in conservation issues. Indicted in 1975 for attempted real estate fraud. Died in 1992.
