Image shows view of the Charles Henry & Cora Belle Cheney residence, located on Via del Monte on lots 15, 16, 17, & 18, block 1615, tract 6884 in Malaga Cove. View looking northeast shows west and south façades of the two-story, stucco house with tile roof, chimney and attached two-car garage. Stone retaining walls and lush landscaping are visible in foreground, with coastline of Redondo Beach visible in background. The Santa Monica and San Gabriel Mountains are visible in the distance. Charles H. Cheney (1884-1943) was city planner for the Palos Verdes Project and served on the Palos Verdes Art Jury from its inception in 1922 through 1940.
