Postcard-sized brochure about Hotel Vendome and surrounding area. On the back of the cover is a hand-written itinerary of the day trip from the hotel to Mt. Hamilton on May 16, 1872, which cost $4.00 roundtrip. Itinerary reads: Visited Mt. Hamilton Monday May 16, 1872. Leave Hotel Vendome 7:30 a.m. arrive at the Lick 3 p.m. via stage. Leave summit 4 p.m. arrive at Hotel Vendome 7:45 o'clock. Smith Creek 19 miles from San Jose. Stop for lunch and take pictures. $4.00 a trip (round) each.
