Description
Two women stand in a parlor. The woman on the left wears a pink and white bonnet with a bow on the side. A large, green coat with black lace trimmings around the edges, covers most of her gray dress. The bottom half of the skirt is visible and rosette embellishments with tassels adorn the front. Her cuffs and collar are white as well as the handkerchief she holds in her gloved hands. The woman on the left stands at a wooden piano with a large green bow in her hair. Around her shoulders is a sheer, lacy capote. Her dress is made from a pink and green striped fabric . The bodice comes to a point in the back and the skirt is made from three tiers of the fabric with scalloped edges. She wears a pair of white gloves and rests a stack of sheet music on the piano. The carpet is brown with a green design and a faint drapery hangs in the background. The bottom left hand corner of the plate is ripped off, making some of the writing illegible.
