Photograph article dated May 10, 1962 partially reads, "Mark Egger, 11, pitched a good game last Sunday. His team, the Generals, met the Angels on the diamond in North Hollywood. Mark had set his heart on pitching...His sister, Kerry, 4, had died the day before. Cancer...'I just felt I should pitch and win for Kerry,' said Mark. 'I just thought I should. For her.'"
