Photograph caption dated July 31, 1957 reads, "Featured at Arthur Murray Medal Ball was Mrs. Johnnie Podesta, of Sunland, shown here with her instructor, Ray Riley, of dance organization's Burbank studio. Mrs. Podesta has six grandchildren and stays young, she says, by dancing away her cares. She is winner of an Arthur Murray bronze medal for dancing proficiency. Medal Ball was televised, with Mrs. Podesta starring in a tango."
