In the East many young people are tempted beyond their ability - by offers of cannabis and hero Nr. 06 - I Østen bliver mange unge fristet over evne - med tilbud om hash og heroin, og selv dem, der hjemme aldrig ville eksperimentere med narkotika, benytter sig af de mange tilbud. For nogle går det godt - de stopper i tide. For andre går det dårligt, så de bliver narkomaner eller fanges af politiet med narkotika og ender i Østens uhyggelige fængsler. Nogle pågribes også, hvis de smugler narkotika eller guld i forsøg på at tjene penge til livets ophold eller køb af ting, de i årevis har drømt om. (Foto 1986)

In the East many young people are tempted beyond their ability - by offers of cannabis and heroin. And even those, who at home never would experiment with narcotics, may accept the many offers. For some it's going well - they stop in time. For others it goes bad, and they become addicted, or they are caught by the police with narcotics, and may end up in a sinister prison of the East. Others are caught while smuggling narcotics or gold, trying to earn money for living or to buy higly wanted items. (Photo 1986).
