Description
Circles show some of the 22 units of traffic signals at the intersection of Verdugo Road and Fletcher Drive on August 29, 1959. Many of the city's 2500 signalled intersections are over-signalled, it is asserted, resulting in senseless extra costs to taxpayers. Some of the signal units here can be eliminated, it is claimed.
