Photograph of a slum dwelling in Los Angeles, being torn down under a program by Juanita Miller, a caseworker who worked with University of Southern California Social Work professor Frances Feldman, to identify families eligible for new government-built housing. Photograph album page labelled "Rosehill Courts, demolition ceremonies, 9-2-41." Verso (not shown) is pre-demolition. The house is tilting severely. Two windows are visible on the front, a door on the side. The front yard is overgrown. Another house is visible to the left. Utility lines string over the house.
