PhotographÂ was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated November 20, 1961 partially reads, "They are attending William Tell Aggeler High School, 21050 Plummer St., Chatsworth, one of seven Los Angeles city social adjustment high schools. It is the only one in the Valley. 'We take in boys having adjustment problems from the community on referral from local schools,' explained Paul E. Godfrey, Aggeler's principal. In other words, boys other schools can no longer handle; therefore, no longer want...Godfrey said Aggeler is organized to meet the general and specific needs of each student. 'This is accomplished by smaller classes (maximum of 20 pupils), closer supervision, frequent evaluation, regular counseling, remedial classes, close home liaison and a sound discipline structure.'"
