Description: Large home on left below hedge trees at 1 Blithedale Terrace. Once owned by Fred Scheffauer. Written on back of photograph: Fred Schaeffaur house lg one on left below hedge trees Sm. cottage in middle original private schoolhouse on estate Next lg. house on right (#4 Blithedale Terrace) built by F. Scheffauer around 1923 - then estate was divided and lg. original house sold. Blithedale Terrace developed by F.C.S. in 1919 across hills in back of old state. Entrance was and is on original estate driveway. Road shown on bottom - Eldridge Ave."
