Image shows view of the Charles Henry & Cora Belle Cheney residence, located on Via del Monte on lots 15, 16, 17, & 18, block 1615, tract 6884 in Malaga Cove. View looking northwest shows front of the two-story, stucco house with tile roof, chimney and attached two-car garage. A stucco wall follows an unpaved section of Via del Monte along front of house. A long balcony overlooks front yard. Santa Monica Bay and Santa Monica mountains are visible in background. Charles H. Cheney (1884-1943) was city planner for the Palos Verdes Project and served on the Palos Verdes Art Jury from its inception in 1922 through 1940.
