Photograph dated 1951 reads, "Pompadoured and beauty-marked, Barbara Payton seems to be whistling a happy tune again as she and her husband (at this writing), Franchot Tone, do some night-clubbing at the Mocambo last night, Tone said, 'I'm happy.'"
