Photograph was edited for publication purposes Seen in photograph is J. C. McPherson, manager of the North Hollywood Department of Water and Power. McPherson was held at gunpoint during a robbery where $70 in receipts were stolen. Just after the robbery, the assailant, in a desperate attempt to flee, assaulted drivers for their cars, at times shooting his gun before managing to force his way into a taxi.
