Photograph article dated November 11, 1963 partially reads, "Rabbi Morton A. Bauman, spiritual leader of Temple Beth Hillel, North Hollywood, had his services interrupted Friday, but he didn't mind. The 'interruption' came from Los Angeles as City Councilman Louis R. Nowell, who presented the rabbi with a citation lauding many years of community service. Nowell presented the scroll to Rabbi Bauman on behalf of the City Council." Left to right, Louis Nowell and Morton A. Bauman.
