Memorial plaque, Iveagh Drive/Iveagh Crescent, West Belfast. Plaque commemorating the death of Angela Gallagher, 'Here Marks the Spot where Baby Angela Gallagher aged 17 months was shot while strolling to the sweet shop with her sister Paula on the 3rd September 1971.' Angela Gallagher was shot while in a pram during an IRA sniper attack on a British Army Foot Patrol, 3rd September 1971. On 6 September 2007 the IRA released a statement admitting that one of its members fired the shot which ricocheted off a wall and struck the child and apologised to the family. Non-aligned;
