Description
Suzanne Lloyd discusses the biography she co-authored with Jeffrey Vance, “Harold Lloyd.” She begins the interview by talking about what it was like to be the granddaughter of Hollywood actor Harold Lloyd and how he raised her when she was a child. She then discusses his early life and his chance career in show business. She describes how he was one of the most famous stars of the silent films, and how Thomas Edison directed the first film her grandfather was in. She explains how Harold Lloyd developed his signature look of wearing glasses. She ends the interview by discussing the estate of Harold Lloyd called Greenacres and what it was like when she lived there as a child.
