Photograph of the native Pima Indian summer dwellings, or "Kans", Arizona, ca.1900. At left stands a small rectangular stick dwelling with a thatched roof. The ramada of another (not visible) at right has a thatched roof supported by thick timbers. Clothing and a pail hang from one of the ramada's rafters over a table and chair. extending from it at right. Another smaller squat upsidedown bowl-shaped thatched dwelling is visible behind.
