Photograph article dated November 13, 1963 partially reads, "Former Assemblyman Joe Shell believes New York Gov. Nelson Rockefeller's campaign for the 1964 Republican presidential nomination is a hoax. Speaking Tuesday at a GOP rally in Van Nuys, Shell said Rockefeller is really aiming for the 1968 presidential nomination. 'This is not his year and he knows it,' said Shell, an avid supporter of Sen. Barry Goldwater (R-Ariz.)"
