Description
Two photographs mounted on black paper matting capture the rivalry between classes during the annual class competitions. A caption on the left side of the matting describes the top photograph: "Poster hung up by the Sophomores in the hall after Chapel one day during a Sophomore-Freshman quarrel. Speedily removed by the Freshmen." The caption on the right describes the bottom photograph: "Sophomore dummy hung up by the Freshmen a few days later in College Ave. in front of the Library." "Down with the soph." is written at the bottom of the lower photograph.
