Description
Photograph of a panoramic view of Hill Street between Second Street and Third Street looking west from City Hall, Los Angeles, ca.1900. Numerous two-story, victorian-style houses stand closely together, lining either side of Hill Street. Behind them, a small shrub- and tree-covered hill rises, on and behind which more of the city's houses can be seen. The gothic spires of a church is visible in the foreground at right.
