Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated October 25, 1950 partially reads, "Mrs. Robert Shuman, Sunland-Tujunga District Red Cross chairman, announced today that the Mobile Blood Bank will visit the Sunland-Tujunga Area Nov. 6 from 3 to 8 p.m. in the Boulevard Christian Church Hall, 7631 Foothill Blvd. Mrs. Phillip Begue, Red Cross blood bank chairman, states that the local goal is 200 pints. Posters are being displayed in store windows and the street banner is now visible to remind us all to 'Give and Save a Life.'"
